mumble not letting me connect

whenever i try to connect to this old mumble that me and my buddies use, it just does this and doesn't let me connect.
occasionally it does, but i can't tell why.
it does however let me connect when i use my laptop which is mega weird.
any help is appreciated

Are they able to join? Those mumbles deactivate after a month iirc

yes yes very easy fix, open up command prompt, type ping (address) then instead of connecting to the address+port connect to ip+port
