Do you use the duck jump script? I used to until I changed my config
whoops that was an ad
Play raw. It's a small change.

I use a duck-jump scipt and I can still C-Tap. When you use a duck-jump scipt that doesn't mean it's impossible to use a regular jump y'know? :O
Besides, I use a scipt for C-Taping aswell anyways :P
And regular rocket jumps ;)
And before you (or anyone) says "but but but there are some jumps you just can't do with scripts and you'll never get good at rocket jumping when you use scipts blablabla".
Yes I can. I learned rocket jumping without scipts, I still have regular jump and duck keys and I have yet to come across a jump I wasn't able to do with my scipts.
Maybe there's some crazy jump on some jump_map out there I wouldn't be able to do with my scipts, but as far as rollouts and other jumps you actually might need in a match, I don't think there's one.
As for using a duck-jump scipt outside of rocket jumping and using it all the time instead of regular jumps:
I stayed away from doing it for the longest time because people said it would hurt me in the long run because you get juggled more etc.
Recently (like 2 weeks ago, after looking at 2 pros configs and seeing that they used duck-jump instead of regular) replaced my regular jump key with a duck-jump and I don't think I'll go back.
A lot of the times getting pushed a bit further by rockets in the semi-rare event that one hits me the exact moment I jump it actually helps me more than it hurts me (getting away from the soldier plus you're in the air longer making it harder for him to hit a second rocket on you).
I'd say it's maybe about 50/50 (hurting vs helping you), but duck-jumping is just more convenient plus I feel like my hitbox gets fucked when I duck in the air, which is always nice.

don't c-tap scripts only work on servers that allow the wait command?

if you nerd don't know how to c-tap already then just try this method

I use duck jump but solely for med. I've noticed my rocket surfs improve drastically after I did so.
