I was morely expecting hype around the fact that TF2 has a new charity event and more activity in the community.
Guess I was wrong considering these comments. :v

not sure why ur surprised tftv isnt interested in watching a bunch of "talk over pub gameplay" youtubers play iron level tf2. esp when theres a map cup happening at the same time

The map cup is happening afterwards, people can watch both.
Also if you're watching a charity event for skilled gameplay I don't know what to say to you. The important part is that money is raised for a good cause, not that the gameplay is spectacular.

wolsneI don't think anyone is saying that it's a requirement to have a high skill ceiling for the event, but I think that most people around here would be more apt to tuning in if that were the case since tftv is the "home of competitive tf2". Ideally we'd love to see some close games instead of watching a Livestream of a pub. I do hope the event goes well though and that you're able to raise a substantial amount.
I hope that's the case, I just feel that some people are being unnecessarily hostile to this event.
