hey, after playing for so long with dx8, i for curiosity decided to try dx9 today just to see how it was and all, launched the game all fine but then obviously i felt a huge difference in fps, so i quit the game and changed back to dx8. My problem now is just that with -dxlevel 81 in the launch options when i try to join a server i just get a blackscreen and the game crashes. Without -dxlevel on the launch options, the game looks like i dont have any fps cfg (i use comanglias).
help (game crashing)

the typical stuff to do is check drivers, verify game cache, remove the command after launching the game, make sure the game is running off your GPU and not your on board graphics, if none of this works let us know

Did all that, verified game cache and it was still happening, checked drivers, removed the command after launching and it wasnt high quality like in dx9 nor blocky like in dx8.
Problem still remains, and i find weird that a problem like this would surface when i was running dx8 before, switched to dx9 for like 5 minutes, switched back and rip.
