really nice guy and cool to hang out with in mumble, but definitely not high open or IM material. Is dedicated to improving and could do well with a team with a similar mindset.

Pretty chill, not a bad medic at all. I don't think he's ready for IM, but he can fit in on a bubble playoffs team in open for sure. Also really good with the vaccinator, great pocket strat to pull out in a match and he can execute it very well!

Ian, saying "Skill level: medic - IM" implies you think you are able to perform at an IM level as medic. You can't go from saying "I'm confident I can play at the skill levels I listed" to "I legit never said I could play IM" in the same conversation. You contradict yourself and make finding a team a much harder endeavor than it needs to be. From playing pugs and seeing your team's performances over the past few seasons you're probably around a mid open player as medic and demo, and i really haven't seen you play anything else.

The secret to finding a team is just being as honest as possible with yourself. I've had this terrible ego problem for years on medic where I've thought that i could play really high level medic when in reality I can't. I fear that you're falling into the same trap and becoming me (and trust me that is not a good thing). Finding a team of good players who are enjoyable to be around isn't as difficult as it seems as long as your are honest about your skill level both with yourself and your teammates. Hope you don't quit tf2 and come back in 2 months and decide to actually stick it out.

Sandblast's circle jerk will shit on ur lft thread. You realize that in pugchamp I said you could probs play on like that super low IM team that would not do well. Why not just play open again, and get better. Then prove everybody wrong about not being a mid-IM player. There is no reason to be this stubborn like in that pastebin.

As someone who went 2-14 in IM, Don't play IM to get shit on, you learn a lot slower.

I was in that pug when n3 told him he could play IM and to his credit ianpowerson seemed very doubtful, either way he seemed like a good medic with fine mechanics, distributes buffs well and whatnot. High open.
