Edit: Found a Team

Hi my name Grumpy, and I'm lft medic. I'm not sure what level I can play at. I've played a number of seasons of HL medic and backed up for a couple UGC 6s and Open teams, so I know the mechanics of the class.

ESEA profile: https://play.esea.net/users/1427102?tab=history
Steam profile: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198020441036/

Strengths
-Can maincall
-Can make decisions for myself
-Good awareness

Things I need to work on
-Continue to better understand the 6s meta
-Shake off the rust

I'm working and my work schedule sometimes asks me to work late. I will always know about 4-6 days in advance. I live on the west coast and can pay for myself. I also have a server and mumble if you need it. I got a problem with tilting, I don't clutter comms I'd just not like to be in that head space.

Add me through steam if your interested.

Thank you.

I've played with grumpy as my scout buddy for awhile, but he's subbed as medic for my team a few times, and every time he knew what he was doing. He's got decent awareness and listens to calls and reacts faster than most med mains. Once he shakes the rust he's certainly worth a tryout on any team that's committed to improving. He's buff irl so bee warned.

Grumpy and I go back to a multitude of teams to the very first one I ever lead, and we've all played a ton of different classes. He introduced me to comp TF2 and team-based video games as a whole. He's a very smart gamer who has a lot of experience in competitive video games outside of TF2, and grasps fundamentals of team-play and strategy very quickly, willing to improvise almost immediately based on his understanding.

Unfortunately, and I am partially to blame for it (for dragging him on my teams), he's been experiencing pretty serious burn-out in the game for the past two seasons so his skills have definitely gotten somewhat rusty. Even still I think he can very comfortably play at a mid-open level; assuming he shakes off the rust and brushes up on his understanding of 6s gameplay, I'm sure he can make a fine addition to teams looking to make playoffs.

Also he's a really funny angry medic main. Pick him up if you want to see your medic majestically prance around an enemy soldier bomb while singing "He ain't getting shit!"

I spent a good deal of time around grumpy this last season either through ringing or mentoring and tldr it was a good experience. One of the nicer people I've met in a very long time.

ruined my 5k to defend last
