Are there any teams that made their way through the ESEA or ETF2L divsions very quickly without having a lot of roster changes to eventually compete in Invite or Prem. I know the original 20b roster did but I was wondering what other teams did also.

I feel like Cafe Monster climbed to Invite pretty fast as well, but I'm too lazy to actually look at the timeline.

Judging from ESEA season histories, it would be -bird noises- roster. They had 3 seasons to go from open to invite.
Cafe Monster is close, but spent 2 seasons in IM.
Bugs are kind of weird, as they won open before going into invite and then going 0-16 (effectively).
Those are the only recent teams that I can remember right now. Some players have gotten to invite quickly. Habib I think had 2 seasons of open, then 1 season of high IM, then won IM, then made playoffs invite.

20b went from a plat hl team that wanted to play open to a playoffs invite team over about 4-5 seasons while keeping the core of their roster stable

IM didn't exist until S7 so that would make eMg the winner simply because they went from Open to Invite. They actually won S5 Open and then made LAN the following season, getting 4th.

Getawhale Fanclub went IM to invite in one season like Root+6 but I'm pretty sure teams that only existed for two seasons/divisions don't really count. (We also broke the first place IM curse)
