While we will not be covering the highly anticipated Ascent vs Gnomercy match tonight, we have instead deferred to covering this match between Velocity eSports and Meat Market. Both teams currently sit in the division standings at 5th and 6th place respectively, but with a win tonight, Velocity can temporarily put themselves ahead of 4th place Faint Gaming, who have been just ahead of them nearly all season. However, if Velocity falls to Meat Market tonight, their playoff hopes will come to a screeching halt, ensuring that Faint Gaming will be the 4th team that will compete in the postseason. There is a lot on the line for Velocity tonight. Will they prevail against Meat Market, or will Meat Market be the butcher to Velocity’s playoff dreams? Meat Market will also play tomorrow night against Faint Gaming, so you won’t want to miss that. Row and cornpop will be your casters tonight while Nicell will be managing the rest of the stream.
