get a 120hz monitor? I don't even know if manufacturers make monitors that go up to only 120 anymore so I can get it cheaper than having to buy a 144hz monitor then setting it to 120hz, but I want to step up my game. I did the benchmarks and I can barely get over 120 fps (121 on HP Recommended setting, 128 on high performance). I don't know if it stabilizes though. I basically play on a laptop (2016 HP Omen 15.6):
Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ (2.8 GHz, up to 3.8 GHz, 6 MB cache, 4 cores) + NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated)
8GB of Ram according to Speccy.

If I were you i'd just save up money and build a better computer and then get a 144hz monitor. If you can barely get 120 fps or get it consistently it's probably not worth it. You could look on craigslist for a cheap crt though. Most of them run at 85hz and a lot can run even higher. Mine will do 180hz on a low res.

Unless i'm mistaken, most laptops don't have the ports to support 120 hz
