Hey, I want to try this season a full time pyro to remplace a pocket scout. pyro has mobilty, more health, airblast, poke ability and afterburn pressure. he can also deals huge damage with phlog while charged.

Yes and with the powerjack you can't shoot the enemy
That's is just a mechanic to have like in csgo when you pull out your knife to go faster and when you see an enemy coming you just switch weapons

well you can't, but is that the most powerful about scouts, they're using it to dodge rockets, as pyro you can just reflect these. and well with the detonator, you can use it as a winger to get on top of things quickly

in my opinion, pyro pocket is useful against a team that have good soldiers because it's way better to deny them, the weakest part of this class is against scouts because they can easily kill you

you want to replace arguably the best class in a game (the scouter), with a pretty much worse version of it (mr fire) so you can then counter a class that is already pretty well countered (soldier, by scouts), yet at the same time make that one scout become even more powerful because you virtually remove one of his strongest counters (another damn scout).
sure theres still 1 scout per team but if that scout dies ur virtually fucked in the cleanup department AND now their scout can walk all over u with heals (since he wont die easily to a pyro because he can play midrange, doesnt need to fear soldiers bc he has heals and they shoot an easy to dodge projectile, and doesnt need to fear demos bc the blackman cannot defend himself that well)

u get a scatter gun AND a gun that can airblast and give you easy meat shots. you also have more HEALTH

It's unfortunate that we only created this strategy now as they're removing the pyro in the next update
