The previously all French top5rocket roster saw a rocky road last season, unable to qualify for the postseason playoffs. However, since the end of that season, the team has since said goodbye to pocket soldier Glastry and scout Namtac. In the offseason the team trialed a number of players and have ultimately settled on Finnish scout credu and Italian soldier fluo.

While credu played on unexpected last season and went to i61 with a slightly modified roster under the Ascent.EU banner, fluo will be playing his first season of premiership TF2. His last appearance was part of the roster of noot clan that won the high division in season 26.

Medic Ombrack also gave us his thoughts on the new roster, saying:

After a disappointing season 27, we decided to part ways with Glastry, and Namtac lost the motivation to be keen on demoman. At that point, the team's future looked a bit dire, as we couldn't see any fit replacements for our missing players. But in the end we were proven wrong, as both Credu and Flu are fitting really well into the team. Credu has proven himself last season with Ascent.EU/Unexpected, so he was our primary target for the scout role. Flu was our only option on pocket, but he's been really useful to our team dynamic and playstyle. On top of that, both of them played together with Nootclan, so they already have some chemistry going on. Credu and Elacour also played together at i61, so we already had a head start on playing as a team. It's the first time since season 18 that we've gone international, and our first win against Lego tells us we're going in the right direction as team.
