Following Pot8o and T0m's departures from ANTIC after i61, the team saw an initial reform for ETF2L Season 28, but time conflicts involving pocket soldier AMS and other team members have led to all members of the team choosing to part ways and disband.

The team entered Season 28 after a major roster reform, starting with the team losing 2 more players after the previous roster changes within the team. Departures from the roster included medic Serotone, who had elected to move to a sub spot on the team, and scout scrab who had plans to part ways with the team and play with another team altogether. This left team captain AMS and demoman Smirre with a roster four players short of being ready to compete in the premiership division.

With a number of open positions to fill, the team immediately got to work trying out players, and ultimately chose to add a number of players to the roster, one of them being former SVIFT medic Raptor, who was not included in the current iteration of SVIFT when announced a while back, where it was ultimately unveiled that babs would end up replacing him as the team's medic.

With half of their roster filled, the team welcomed more players to the roster, including a new face in scout YeeHaw, who was taking on his first season of premiership TF2. He would be accompanied by veteran Swedish scout Herr_p, whose last appearance was at DreamHack Winter 2016: Battle for the North with the all Swedish team that ended up taking first place at the event. Their final member was German soldier Rising, whose addition completed the team's soldier duo and starting lineup for the season.

However, as alluded to at the beginning of this article, pocket soldier and team captain AMS has had to step down from the team due to conflicts with real life activities. This, alongside other members having time conflicts, ultimately led to all players agreeing that ending their season short was the best option instead of trying to push through the remainder of the season with an incomplete roster.

Smirre also gave a brief word on the team disbanding, saying:

We had a good run and a great LAN together, sadly that roster died before the season even begun. With every single teammate leaving from the old roster it became very difficult to pull something together and we did not have a full roster a single day during our scrims/officials.
