my resolution, 1600x900 (because that's my monitor size), is really shitty when it comes to spotting hidden snipers and my graphics config doesn't seem to be helping since i still have a clusterfuck of visual effects that don't allow me to have a clear visualization of the game.
im looking for configs that can make my game look kinda this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBrdS7lTdQU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bdeeLZVZpM
i use comanglia's config so I don't have the stock graphics config, but i'm still looking for something even clearer, more related to the brightness of the general scenarios of the game, since i feel it's too dark for me.
what's the dx level on those configurations? is there any custom mods I should install? also, any recomendations when it comes to resolution changes? thanks in advance!
how can I make my game look like this?

launch option : -dxlevel 81
mat_monitorgamma 1.6 (max brightness)
for the res (second vid) 4:3 1024*768 stretched (look on youtube if you dont know how to configure stretched res)
i recommand using 4:3 if youre blind

That might have to do with your AMD drivers because I had the same issue with smoke trails not appearing.
I rolled mine back to 17.1.1 (version from the very beginning of this year) and they are fine now.
