And that's the story of every European's PTSD American dining experience after Rewind 2017.
(There's two food halls nearby called 4th Street Market and MacFadden Public Market. 4th Street has a lot of variety of food and lots of sweet cookies at Chunk n' Chip, MacFadden has an arcade room upstairs and the ahi tuna tacos from En Tu Boca are divine.)

Seconding Uber's suggestions above, those two have enough variety for the weekend.
From 4th street market:
Mar - Poke bowls and teriyaki meats if you don't like raw fish
Chunk n Chip - Cookies
Portola Coffee Lab - espresso and coffee drinks
MacFadden:
Rooster Republic - Didn't actually eat there but other people with me had fried chicken and it smelled oh so good
RIP Viking Dog and their excessively long dogs
C4 Deli: They're only open for lunch, but have sandwiches, burgers, etc
Crave: Sandwiches, salads, brunch, etc
Also one night we were at La Rinconada which has tacos and Mexican plates, and had a grand old karaoke time.
There's a Starbucks a block away and Subway somewhere beyond.

We went to Chapter One after ToTH 2017 and it was pretty good, lots of drink options as well. I remember it being expensive, though - http://www.chapteronetml.com
i went to jack in the box, they brought my food out to me?
You can have like a litre of drink with free refills
homeless people will walk up to your tables and ask for your remaining fries

4th Street and McFadden are excellent and have a ton of variety. Taqueria De Anda about a mile from the venue has some FANTASTIC tacos.
