Why did they stop playing gravel pit after i46 or something. I thought it promoted different classes which was pretty beneficial or is it because it caused too much stalemates?

because nobody liked to play it. teams only scrimmed it during Gpit week so people barely ever practiced it

from a spectator viewpoint it was probably one of the most exciting maps because it had lots of weird plays, offclasses, teams actually trying to protect A sometimes, and it probably had the most upsets
