Missing sounds in DX8

So i tried using dx8, and everything works fine but some of the sounds (ie. rocket launcher firing sound, scattergun firing sound etc.) just don't work for some reason.

Why do people still use chris's config in 2018, there are so many better configs and it's so outdated. Try a newer config please

I have the same problem, and i'm using comanglia's config with trilinear off.
