Not sure if anyone knows much, but I'm looking at hosting a 20~ slot pub server in the UK, and was wondering what my options are. Don't want to break the bank, but I'd still like the connection to be decent.
I know about the basic gameservers.com, which is $20/mth, but have heard one or two bad things about them. Apart from that, Multiplay, which is $16 and I which I don't really know anything about.

I did once rent a server from Multiplay (it was in Toronto, Canada though) and their service was alright. It got the job done but there was limited customizablility IMO.
tragicservers do not have any uk ones. id go with eoreality, they have a london option
etf2l is probably a better place to ask this question, but I've heard good things about multiplay. Hiperz is another european option, but they don't offer servers in the UK
multiplay doesn't give you ftp access and it can be a pain to request stuff, i'd only recommend it if you want a pretty bare bones server.
Alright, gonna see what ETF2L has to say first, butt I'm leaning towards eoreality.
SIDE QUESTION does anyone know what "high priority" and "dedicated core" do?
Multiplay is cheap and simple but they don't support that many mods and the servers are laggy and crash more often than I'd like. Hiperz do good ones but not in the UK, though I doubt it would really make any noticeable difference between a France or Netherlands server and a London one.You say you don't want to break the bank but the best servers I've ever played on were Gaming deluxe servers, but the quality comes at a price :l
