I keep getting lagspikes whenever someone else is using the internet, I still live with my parents and brother and whenever they start using it my ping goes high, it's usually between 40-70 and suddenly goes to 200 or 300 then back to the first value, help.

I keep getting lagspikes whenever someone else is using the internet, I still live with my parents and brother and whenever they start using it my ping goes high, it's usually between 40-70 and suddenly goes to 200 or 300 then back to the first value, help.
Do you use ethernet cables?
If not, that could be a reason for your lag spikes. A low download speed may also result in high ping, I'd give you more insight but I'm not really knowledgeable on the topic.
