I know listing tryouts on an LFP is kind of not useful as many people are trying out for multiple teams, but I'd just like people to have an idea of who they may be playing with and the caliber of player I'd like to pick up depending on who ends up sticking around as at the moment it's just me and carter gauging interest from other LFT players.

Scouts: LFP/Chaseduck/Antecedent?/Lou?
Pocket: Carter
Roamer: Console-
Demoman: ???
Medic: DomTheWhiteGuy???
Subs: Pont

I'm trying to make a team that is going to move forward together to IM in the next season or two, ideally going at least 11-5 in the regular season. I will be looking for players who are willing to scrim Monday-Friday, and team demo review. I'll only be doing TFTV production/casting myself once a week (and only on non-match nights), and as I'm currently moving more towards a scheduler/talent recruiter role in EssentialsTF I should be available every weekend. I am also aware that towards the end of the season I have a tendency to lose motivation, especially if I end up playing medic, so I've asked fygg from OMNI5 to mentor the team, keeping us focused on winning as well as helping refine our map pool and help us in demo reviews. Picking up players who are down to play other games together and do team-building stuff (chill in mumble, etc) is a big focus for me with this team.

Warning: wall of text below concerning me playing non-medic on a high open team

I am fully aware that I am definitely not the strongest roamer (would consider myself mid open to bubble at best at my current skill level), which is why I've also put myself down as potentially playing med on this team (though I would much rather prefer to play roamer). I would definitely be a weak link in the team, especially given my overall goals for it, and hopefully my role as a soldier will not be a detriment to our overall performance. I've been grinding out my DM and recognize my biggest weaknesses on roamer (impatience during holds, feeding due to being unaware about numbers situations on mid, and not valuing my life as much as I should) and have been actively looking to improve in all aspects. If me playing roamer is the only thing keeping people from trying out on this team, I will happily switch to medic; while ideally I'd like to put myself in an environment where I can learn the most on roamer, I also want to put the team in a good environment to perform well even at the cost of my enjoyment to the game. I am going into this season with more of the mindset of a team leader wanting to put together talent that should be able to move up in the ranks of ESEA rather than trying to mainly get carried on soldier, allowing me to learn in an environment where making mistakes will be less costly.

TL;DR: I am aware I am not of equivalent skill on roamer compared to the people I'm trying out, and while I really really badly wanna play soldier, i'm down to switch to med if it's the only thing stopping people from trying out.

I haven't played with or know anyone on this team but the fact that console put the effort in to actually have a write up and solid expectations for an lfp means he's taking the game more seriously than 99% of leaders. Tbh i kinda wanna get on this team because i can tell console is going to go far.

Scrims went really well last night, am happy with how tryouts are going so far. At this point, looking mainly for demo tryouts as they seem to be more scarce than other classes to find, and I have a general idea of the pool of scouts/medics I'd like to pick up. Will be scrimming through friday this week, then monday-friday next week. If it has to come down to it willing to pay up subs' premium so we have another week or two to get tryouts in after registration deadline in order to find the right fit on classes. Feel free to keep sending me steam requests and discord messages
