If you really need the same form factor, I believe the Razer Diamondback is the upgraded version of the Razer Copperhead.

No experience with the mouse so I can't tell you much about build quality or sensor stuff regarding it, but shape/size is generally most important for FPS. I do implore you to look further into the mouse before buying it as I did very minimal research.

Saying all Razer products are bad is incredibly ignorant when you look at some of their newer products with the Razer Basilisk being a similar G502 (insanely popular) with a very innovative way of using a sniper button/clutch that is modular and the new Razer Mamba which is probably a step in a good direction for wireless mice. Yes they have a history of past products not being the greatest but they've really stepped it up.

You're even saying to look at RJN's website... a person who also praises a lot of Razer's newer products...

the problem isn’t with the mice themselves, it’s with razer synapse and bad customer support/build quality

I dont know how recent razer mice are, but i needed synapse for my copperhead only when i had to set up the profiles stored in the mouse. Since then I uninstalled it, use only 1 profile, and had no issues with it.
Any feedback about the cheapest steelseries rival? Shape looks similar. I should also add that I'm looking for hard and audible buttons.

When regarding either SS Rival 100 or 110 they both have slightly dull on the click down, the 110 having a sharper snap back and the 100 being not as snappy. RJN has a part in his vid showing a comparison of the clicks .

That being said though, the Steelseries Rival 100 has tons of sensor issues, if you use a DPI above 500 it has jitter/lag input issues supposedly (Source) which could be an issue for some. Also steelseries DPI steps are kind of weird for their older mice, I believe the 100 are 250 500 1000 1250 1500 1750 2000 4000.

The new updated Steelseries Rival 110 avoids all these issues as it has a very new sensor in the TrueMove3 which is currently rivaling the current top sensors (PMW 3360/3366/3389/3989)

Alright I'll steer clear from the rival 100. Do you happen to know the Ninox Venator?

Yes, own it personally. Stray away from the white one, heard it has build quality issues. The black one I own had none of those issues I've heard of.

It is similiar to the Zowie ZA13 which is a popular mouse and even houses a better sensor in the PMW3360. Good mouse, would recommend.
