Following a week 4 that was both amazing for Se7en and very much unfortunate for Velocity eSports EU, the odds of this game seem stacked against the latter team.
Having demonstrated their clear superiority even when versing what was seen by many as their only rivals, Se7en is looking incredibly strong, managing to beat SVIFT in approximately 47 minutes on 2 maps (counting pauses).
On the other hand, Velocity eSports EU will need to repeat the performances of unexpected in Season 27 if they want to bring down the titan just like some have managed to do in the past. It’s not that the team isn’t capable of defying Se7en’s plays, Velocity eSports EU showed, often, their potential like in their convincing 4-0 on cp_gullywash against Ascent.EU and players like spudd have a long experience of playing with and against Se7en which could also help the team. The challenge of the game will be more centered on how they will try to contest Se7en and if it will be enough to slay Goliath.
