Im using chris's config in tf2 because my game runs bad. The config works fine in any game mode but when I join a MM game my setting get set back to default. Now this would be fine but the thing is though that it takes a solid 7 days for my setting to reset. And if I dont have my task manager open on my second monitor then my game will just stay frozen for hours. The worst part is that I wont even join the match and the match will be canceled and considering how long the queue times are, iv'e just ruined the comp experience for 11 other people, and that sucks. Does anyone konw how to fix this issue or if there is a performance config that works with MM.

only thing you can do is not play MM valve wants everyone on a level playing field so they force everyone to use dx9 and also disables most of the commands used in fps configs

So is there a config that I can use in comp?

I'm sure someone made one, isn't there a way that you can find out which commands the valve MM changes, and alias them iout in autoexec? like if you put alias "mat_dxlevel" "" in your autoexec you can't be put on dx9?
Then do the same for maybe mat_picmip and mat_queue_mode, and others.
