I installed a smokeless explosion script via a .vpk file simply dragging and dropping it into my custom folder. While playing for awhile i just recognized that it didnt work anymore. (It was working at first.) I didnt mess with any settings other than switching to Dx81 and using m0rehud black
Anyone know a fix or? I dont want to verfiy my game to reset it because i dont wanna reinstall my cfg lol

if you installed vtf crosshairs maybe they override the vpk? just a guess, can't say that i know. otherwise try using the scripts/tf_weapon_* files to change the smoke and see if it works with that, you can get them from cfg.tf

yeah i do have custom crosshair vpk's downloaded ill remove them and try it.
edit: removing the crosshair vpk worked! ty
