After a fiercely competitive Ultiduo 14 competition, ozfortress has revealed the details for its next season of Oceanic TF2.
The 28th season of the ozfortress league is here!
Teams from all over Oceania and Asia will compete from May 24th up until the 30th of July for their shot at a championship title and a chance to secure part of the $2,000 AUD (~$1,307 USD) prize pool. The distribution for Premier will be as follows:
- 1st: $1200 AUD (~$785 USD)
- 2nd: $600 AUD (~$392 USD)
- 3rd: $200 AUD (~$130 USD)
There have been also been changes made to the map pool and brings the map pool more in line internationally. This season we see the inclusion of Metalworks and Prolands after a long break from the league, replacing Reckoner and Bagel. The full map pool for Season 28 is:

Furthermore, certain modules of the the community-dubbed "promod" plugin has been introduced. The list of fixes the plugins implement are:
- Sticky delay – Allows Demoman to detonate stickies while switching weapon
- Ramp sliding – Prevents players from getting caught on certain ramps
- Removal of the Rick May statue
ozfortress will not be implementing any other modules of the "promod" plugin, including the ghost crossbow bolts, fixed fall damage, and the Medic speed change.
The league's official announcement was also posted, featuring important dates and critical changes. The four brackets of Premier, Intermediate, Main and Open will remain unchanged.
Signups for OZF 28 are now open on the ozfortress website, with signups closing on Wednesday, 20th of May.
