#8 PC Upgrade in Hardware

I can attest to the fact that tf2 runs fine on intergrated. On a 720p res, i was running on high settings with no AA and was always staying 60+ fps in pubs. So I'd say 1080p maxframes would run fine.

#5 PC Problem in Hardware
YawnyYeah I have a video card. I never knew you plugged the monitor into the video card event though it seems so obvious now. Thank you.
Also another thing, my video card doesn't have a vga input on it, do video cards only take dvi/hdmi, or is my card just different? Sorry for sounding like a complete idiot

Most video cards come with an adaptor for DVI to VGA, and if it didnt you can grab one for really cheap on monoprice/ebay/amazon etc

#2 Trigger Spree in Off Topic

Isn't cryengine 3 poorly optimized? idk. The mentions of Halo 2, UT, and Timesplitters has my attention though, those are some fun games.

High Park/Junction area here, we still have power, didn't see any downed trees or powerlines when i went to get coffee. Sucks for the guys who don't have power who aren't reading this since they can't :/. If you are in or around toronto, do some simple stuff like making sure you've charged your phone and/or laptop, make sure you have some candles or a flashlight, and make sure you have enough medication to last 3 days if you need it.

#2 Headset (around 50 euros) in Hardware

It's always a better idea to go with headphones and a seperate mic.

Here's what I'd get:

#22 TF2Hud+ in Customization
PlatinumLooks really goodiI may switch from gmang hud I've used for years. Does then demoman pipe bar charge for loose cannon?

If it works for stickies, it will work for pipes if I'm not mistaken, same file used, something like HUDDemocharge.res

#2 Computer hardware in winter weather in Hardware

I'd be more worried about them being stolen from your trunk. The big thing to worry about here is condensation, but it's a non-issue if you leave them in a warm dry room for a bit before turning them on.

It doesn't bother me when it's after the first week of december, but ideally it would start the week before christmas
