Hello, all. I've got a white Zowie EC1 EVO that I don't use and would like to sell pretty cheaply. It's barely used, I bought it to use while my old deathadder was being RMA'd, but it ended up getting to me pretty fast so i only used the ec1 a couple times, never got around to returning it.
I have the packaging and everything it came with. I live in Toronto if anyone was local and wanted it. I don't expect close to retail value for it, and I'd probably sell it for really cheap to someone locally.
Old thread with some vouches and stuff: http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/14419-selling-some-extra-stuff-i-dont-use
defyshipping a monitor actually wouldn't be expensive at all....average weight comes into play and then how far its being shipped. probably over $20 if it went out to cali from philly (for example) but definitely less then $20 if it was midwest or east coast. i'd go via fed ex...UPS is pretty awful with handling packages
I guess I'm just used to getting fucked by canadian shipping rates then :x
Shipping's going to be pretty expensive for a monitor, your best bet is probably local. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001311 there's the newegg page for anyone interested. GLWS OP
What a nice guy :) http://i.imgur.com/pVY3DeN.png
I think I've used TTFedit and fontforge, both did what they needed to which was a simple character edit.
I guess I was too late, thanks for doing that anyways.
hope i didnt add you too late :<
syllySetsulDepends on the "performance updates" by valve.what if i had maxframes on with this build? (talking about http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2kBAx)
I'm using a 4770K too (although with a 7970 GHZ) and on maxquality I'm usually getting stable 240 fps in 6s, some drops in HL and some random bad drops (worst I've had was 80) in pubs, because TF2 refuses to use more than 30% of the CPU. If I can fix the CPU usage problem I'll get 240fps constant, everywhere, all the time.
tl;dr
It'll destroy TF2, as much as it is possible after years of horrible updates.
For other games the GPU might be a bit of a bottleneck, especially on 120Hz (but you can always switch to 60Hz for demanding single player games e.g. Crysis 3).
edit: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2lAbB i changed the keyboard/mouse and added a cpu cooler. does it look alright now?
ulmyxxhttp://pcpartpicker.com/p/2loVS yeah i am kinda a millionaire so suck it
That's not even a GOOD stupidly highend fake build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2lzDD
I want to see a highlander scout fragvid from someone like useoftoaster, that would be cool.
bearodactylPlatypusDefinitely won't get better fps, but for streaming and multi tasking the extra cores are really nice (though I've never used a 4570k irl for more than 5 minutes so I can't really comment on the real world difference)SetsulDepends on the "performance updates" by valve.a 4770k won't see any performance gain over a 4670k in any game, with the possible exception of battlefield 4, where hyperthreading can be used, and even then, its a nearly negligible performance gain. TF2 uses a 32bit client, so max 2 threads and 4gb(?) ram can be used.

logical threads are meh overall, heavy renders/encodes excluded. the main advantages to an i7 are the increased amount of l3, and the fact that they are binned slightly higher, allowing for higher OCs, at least IMO.
