#13 Transporting computer in Hardware

lay it down so the cooler is pointing up and the mobo is laying flat parallel to the floor of the car. I strongly recommend removing gpu just in case, since it's not hard to re-seat, but even if you don't i doubt anything will happen.

#35 Anyone have a mouse to sell? in Hardware

I have a pretty much untouched Zowie FK (opened the box, played for 20 mins and didnt like the coating so it went back in the box), and never got around to returning it. If anyone here lives in Canada so the shipping isn't ridiculous, i would sell it pretty cheap. If you live in Toronto I could meet you on the subway or something so it wouldn't have to be shipped. Just add me or w/e

#21 Advice for a Editing/Tf2 rig in Hardware

770 is pretty new, and I've always preferred Nvidia cards due to better linux support, but the new AMD line (9000 series) is coming out Q3/Q4 IIRC, so if you have a working computer right now it might be worth it to wait a bit and see. On the other hand, something better will always be coming out, so it's up to you on whether or not to build now or wait.

#8 PC build for a friend in Hardware
WaldoIf you're getting the 4770k, that means you'll be overclocking, in which case you probably want an aftermarket cooler, I'd suggest the Hyper 212. If he doesn't intend on overclocking, he should just get the 4770, but even then, you probably want the cooler to be safe.

Hyper 212 for this build is dumb. Spend a little extra cash for a nice phanteks or noctua HSF

here's some suggestions from me. if you want a more detailed explanation for a change just ask.
