tf2 doesnt record sv_cheats 1 hours, no way i know of to uncover previous hours
i have a recorded 175 hours in demoman, but in actuality there are over 2000 hours unaccounted for from servers with cheats enabled

I'm sure tf2 would get more attention if Valve supported it more, which it seems like they are doing, but who really cares? It's video games, dude.
You seem to be shocked someone wants to discuss video games on a forum dedicated to a video game. If you don't care about the more serious side to e-Sports, then you can change what forum topics you view in your settings.
I enjoy e-sports, but I don't think it should matter if Valve treats tf2 one way or another, either way people will play and enjoy it as an e-sport.
it definitely does matter how valve treats it, they alone hold the most potential for making tf2 a more recognized esport quickly. Without valves support I don't think csgo would be anywhere near as big as it is.

biskuitMelonTFI have never bhopped in any game other than tf2 and there are plenty of top jumpers that would disagree with how difficult this is being portrayed asprobably because you're referring to bhop servers that use a shitty plugin that you can hold the spacebar to jump repeatedly
I only play on tempus, there are no bhop plugins
EDIT probably should have prefaced my posts with this but I have over 2000 hours of experience with jump and jump mechanics, but keep in mind these are relative to jumping

EXC0MelonTFspacebar is completely viable for bhops, if you get the timing down its just as good as mousewheel
I mean sure, if you can consistently use spacebar to time bunnyhops then I wish all power to you. But the reason scroll is more popular is because of consistency, it has a massive advantage over spacebar in that regard.
i dont know man, when doing strats like the one on ASDF the mousewheel never seems to be more consistent than just pressing space at the right time

you can test bhops on jump maps that have uncrouched bounce heights, but you can usually only do one bhop or in some cases two on the same surface. if you bhop on a tele surface and don't get teleported you know you bhopped.
