As we all know, TF2 (on most systems) can’t handle mouse polling rates above 2K. Now we’re starting to see gaming keyboards with higher polling rates - for example, the Wooting 2HE is coming out this quarter with an 8K polling rate.

Does anyone have experience with keyboard polling and TF2? I’m assuming it’s the same issue we see with high mouse polling, unless someone knows otherwise. I’ll test it further when I get my hands on one.

Having ran a couple where I invited a couple of prem teams, I spoke to multiple prem players before I announced it about the map pool as I wanted to put some non played maps in (specifically subbase as its my favorite map) and they all said they wouldn't be able to get a team of 6 to play these maps.

I think the only way to actually get top players to play these maps would be to throw up a pretty big prize pool, maybe a few people come together and make a large prize pool? I know for myself I'd be happy to throw a couple hundred bucks in but im not footing a 5k bill like the jump world cup and I don't expect any other individual to do so.

To future parents, this is an example of why you make your kids go outside.

If you are going to use mouse accel you 100% shouldn't use windows default use raw accel.

However general consensus is it is a limiting factor long term.

Assuming you're using obs like everyone else.
Right click your screen or game capture -> click add filter -> choose colour correction -> adjust brightness (or gamma or contrast or whatever else you want to)
