IntellectualgrapeI would consider putting the chargemeter in a file other than MedicCharge.res just so that it can stay visible regardless what weapon you have out, and so it keeps animating when you die and respawn as well.In medHUD it is in the hudlayout.res so maincallers that don't necessarily play medic can use it as well.
Do you think you could go a bit more into where stuff goes? Trying to integrate into my hud with the option for all classes as well.
thesupremecommanderBased on research I've done on client plugins (and coincidentally for fixing the pause bug), I can confirm that it IS possible to replace player names on the HUD. All that's required is figuring out how to pull Steam ID info on the client-side, which would be the best way of identifying players uniquely.
Do you get the steamID as part of the client when watching a sourceTV? Otherwise, you could do an a2a request to the server itself. Not the most elegant, but it would get the job done.
As a caster, I would do my homework beforehand to make sure it works... ESEA has no problem with fakenicking because of the client, and ETF2L cracks down on it pretty hard, but as of now ozfortress, which is what I cast, doesn't really enforce fakenicking that much. There are prem teams that I just cannot cast because they all alias because they are being casted (looking at you threefiddy).
While this would be cool, I don't think it's worth too much dev time because the easy answer to this is to petition the admins to be more serious about fakenicks, and if the actual hud element is not updated, it seems pretty useless if it's different in different places.
The other idea would be a serverside plugin on the STV relay. Not sure if that would be possible at all.
Eventually I could see a plugin that just replaces all the hud elements. Would be quite elaborate, but would be very cool. I need to brush up on my coding skills.
I'm wondering how possible it would be to change players names based on a database/list of SteamIDs associated with the wanted name and tag... not sure if this is the sort of thing you are wanting to do with this plugin but my God would it be amazing.

I'm not interested in adding a fosters scoreboard with numbers, I think it defeats the purpose and is a waste of time (I'd rather fix broken things first), but if someone wants to submit a pull request that looks good, please do. Make sure it's diffed on my dev branch and only adds the scoreboard to the OPTIONS folder.
WithADanceNumberThis HUD unequips my load out infrequently. Is kinda annoying.
I've heard of this happening (not with my hud specifically but just a general tf2 thing), but am not sure how a hud can do this. If someone knows the fix (if it is a hud thing), please let me know.
I'm a little bit sad that this had to be taken down. Whayay, if you'd like to remove the font files from past commits, there is a way to do this. Check here.

This is due to it being based off the right of the screen and not the left, I will have to spend a lot of time switching it around. It was originally a right handed scoreboard but I liked it on the left better for various reasons. But I will get to that, probably for the next release. I'd recommend trying out Fosters scoreboards in the meantime, which I personally use.
Of course, if you'd like to and as a stop gap, you can use the yahud version of the scoreboard but it doesn't include my recoloring. The right handed one will also interfere with the spectator hud, and the left handed one leaves room for a spectator UI.
