It was the same for Ultima Online. People that started playing back then, are now invincible. When you join now, you are basically so far behind, you will not ever make up even unless you got big money to spend and know a few people ingame. Training skills takes really ages, depending on what skill you get.
Anyone else getting a game crash, when clicking on "Public" to join a random server? It just closes TF2 without an event or warning. Did reboot steam and TF2, but didnt fix it.
downpourAndeeyeah that vid isnt from the original team but there wasnt one of the original team so RIPdownpourDavidchoihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4AwEhFlzyEAndeeThe good ol' Dignitas team.. and also Fakkelbrigade! There was a dig team?

Yeah they changed name to Relic. I think original team was Rebeli, Bybben, Agron, Darn, Appz, Ryb, Riemu, Mick etc :) The youtube movie you posted was of team PwR after they got Dignitas sponsership of the old Dignitas team, far as I know.
Found a nice game vs www, with 2 Agron caps :)

I like the somewhat harder techno, like Ken Ishi, Dave Clarke, Rachmad, Skills, Paul van Dyke, Umek (early days), but there are so many good Dj's and producers around.

Wow.. just.. wow
Wouldn't it be alot more productive, to investigate ways of combining a large TF2 content website, like tf.tv with a community-run or proffesional TF2 league supporting several formats, like 6vs6, highlander, ultiduo, etc.
One big massive platform to increase page views drastically. This would attract more sponsors, advertising compagnies and perhaps create competitive player influx. Which could in the long run grow into LAN support, better and more high-end competition, more coverage, streaming etc. We've got all these little islands, like vanillatf2, etf2l, esea, cevo, tf.tv, extv etc. But none of them seem to have the potential to grow into something big. Either due to the lack of money, or technical issues with the backend, or scamming scandals, etc.
I always liked the idea that Admirable posted here some time ago. I think that's the only way to bring TF2 to a higher level, if there is still enough time to do so :)
Awwww this is sweet to watch. If I ever run into you on a server, I'll go medic and help you out :)
Thanks Octane! Ill test it in a sec :)
