You probably already know this and it might be fine since you're migrating to a new ELO system, but all of the recent games I spot checked have NaN as elo adjustments post match

Speaking of which, subbing / reporting a player also results in an error page (don't recall specifics offhand; it's fixed by refreshing)
happy to game, especially if I know you
demo or soldier, comfy adv
Hi Dolphin, I'm also curious on how it's currently picking teams (partition problem? max flow algo?) and calculating favorability. You're probably already looking at how predicted favorability compares to actual outcomes, but would be nice to see published stats (vs some anecdotes in the thread).
I'd be happy to help with developing the pug site / team picking algo (though it appears you have enough devs atm; applied anyhow so you have my info), or just chat if you'd like. My discord handle is Antecedent.
plumbearodactyljust let people captain lol humans are better at picking than some dumb systemI simply disagree. I feel like this only works for circlejerks where everyone knows everyone else.
idk about circlejerk, but the tf2 community is pretty small. usually by the time people hit adv, they know everyone else adv & inv
not so sure about open - main these days, but during ESEA at least most open players knew everyone else after a season or so (e.g. everyone except the newest players)
the tough part is if we don't do captaining, do we go with ELO? will enough games get played for it to be useful, in a community this small? imo the old pugchamp/mixchamp split works best, with captained games for the upper divs where everyone knows each other, and elo/all-but-random games for when there are many strangers
Antecedentfeeling the demo itch
would like to play top adv or get kicked around in inv
pondering playing, demo high adv / assbottom inv
potentially cu@ and lft

the old man of tf2, can fuck around on any class
time is no longer a circle; go forth and prosper
