mastercomsAnyarIf you know that people have been having issues with this (and others like -nops2b) I'd recommend noting that it CAN be bad instead of simply saying "FPS boost on weak GPUs" which makes it sound like it can help for old computers but won't affect others.
-nosrgb already says the effects it has on lighting and colors.
I'm not aware of any problems -nops2b has besides thicker fog. Plus, for -nops2b it says "more frames on really old/bad GPUs" because it does only affect those, and can possibly make it worse for newer cards.
Let me restate it. -nosrgb says that it disables SRGB, which "limits variety of colors, brighter lighting, flatter colors". How does that translate into "invisible players, mostly invisible weapons", which is the issue I had?
Unless of course my No Hats mod somehow conflicts with disabling SRGB... hm...
mastercomsAnyarI have a really bad computer and that really helped my fps, but honestly who would use that? What's the point of good fps if it's at the cost of not being able to see enemy players?
It's up to people to use it if they want to based on what it does. I just want to create more options for people and allow for greater customization and choice.
Even if it is No Hats mod, I genuinely don't understand why you think any reasonable human being would want invisible players for more fps in a first-person shooter game given what I had said. It's like saying "here's an option to destroy your gameplay, but hey, it makes you die more smoothly".
Oh and, also, for "m_limitedcapture_workaround 1 // Workaround for mouse capture issues introduced in Windows 10 build 1703", what mouse capture issues specifically is this for?
Thanks for the help.
