IMO the movement speed should be tweaked then it would perfectly balanced.
As it is now it makes demo way too mobile and combined with the health bonus makes the lack of primary, especially with the loose cannon nerf, not a huge drawback since you can just surf away from most close range rockets and such while having tons of HP. Makes it really easy to bomb too.
Maybe going from 10% movement to around 6-7%.
Edit:
As a side note I don't want booties to get nerfed because it is the only unlock (along with the now much weaker loose cannon) that makes playing demo less painful at times.
However it is definitely better than all the other unlocks available for demo right now, and really has a super minimal trade off.
I'd say its worth a shot for this season to replace Metalworks with Logjam just to see how it works out, and then maybe Reckoner the season after if we don't like it.
Metalworks is currently the only map in the rotation which I think could be improved or replaced.
Apparently I had misinterpreted what was being said, so my original posts still stands.
This doesn't make sense to me.
Also even if I disagree with TF.TV's decision there is a still a logical reasoning behind it as there are only so many volunteer hours we can utilize towards content creation.
If you really do care about content for Open/IM and HL to be posted here and elsewhere its on you to contribute towards its creation to demonstrate the merit of such articles as this site runs on a volunteer basis.
I'm sure if the interest is actually there the articles can be brought back, but the demand and resources have to be there first to justify it.
Either we include all formats of real competitive merit, i.e., bball, ultiduo, jumping, 6s/HL, or we segregate them all to their individual sites.
If we include bball/ultiduo articles and jumping videos then we should include HL articles imo.
I'm not a huge fan of HL and think it's kind of a shit game mode but I don't see the logic in calling ourselves the home of competitive tf2 if the largest community of competitive players numbers-wise doesn't have their content posted here.
Unless the goal is to make 6v6 the only real competitive format, in which case I both agree and understand.
Bonafidehttp://store.steampowered.com/app/233250/ Is this worth buying? I see a lot of negative reviews but mostly angry people about having to buy it again for more content
It's honestly just Supreme Commander re polished with shitty money grab expansions.
If you want a game like it with a much better single player experience and is also pretty cheap for the base game and all the expansions.
loserline49Playing through Divinity: Original Sin with a friend in co-op was one of the most memorable coop experiences I've had. If you have a friend willing to play with you, definitely buy it. Even if you don't, singleplayer is so amazingly fun.
If you're a really huge fan of rpgs like Baldurs Gate the game Pillars of Eternity is the modern successor to that game in terms of game play and strength of story/characters.
Divinity looks better and has more polished combat but has forgettable story and characters imo.
I seriously can't follow the story and it makes me sad.
Well I'll be damned they actually did it
bornaI made this because I suffer from fps and I am on mac! Now I have managed it and I feel good!
We should probably just ban this guy now.
wtf crossbow building uber??
loose cannon less gay????
pryro not an unholy clusterfuck of stupid?????????
WHAT A FUCKING FAT UPDATE
No where did I state that philosophy just makes shit up, I'm just saying that looking at philisophical problems and arguing them from a mathematical or scientific standpoint does not always lead to good philosphy.
In addition, just to continue the discussion of the dichotomy paradox, technically the smallest maximum unit of length currently is a Planck Length. Currently there is real way to even truly measure it as our instrumentation does not have the resolution required.
Meaning, a Planck Length is currently the smallest order of measurement that we can theoretically derive. So as our knowledge of physics increases there certainly could be a smaller unit of measurement found hence the paradox could even scientifically continue.
