This is what I like to see when viewing this site for the first time in a while, thanks partner.
God such a Pennsylvania town name. lol
Man I miss this game.
Yeah, I play competitive standard at the StarCity events. (All work schedule allows for right now.) Preparing for DGM prerelease with a bunch of proxy decks of the cards as they are spoiled.
It's funny how it works, I get into it once every 3 years and I get SUPER competitive with it. I literally build my standard deck on MTGO as well (very dumb idea money wise) and just grind, grind and grind to prepare for tournaments.
Finished decently at the last huge open in DC, Junk reanimator is still imba. (I run boros aggro, not red deck wins ez mode barely-boros shit either.. but predominantly white) Good god I CANNOT wait for thragtusk and resto angel to rotate out. I literally cannot wait. :O I REFUSE TO PLAY MIDRANGE. T_T
Also, MODERN MASTERS is going to be AMAZING. :D
No more 150 dollar goyfs! I've always played standard but have been itching to give modern and legacy (gasp) a shot. I work in graphics so it's nice being able to have the SCGLIVE streams up every weekend just in the background if anything.
I'm literally refreshing spoiler sites every night at midnight:

(One of the best ones I have found, outside of MTGsalvation)
If you've ever played a strategy game (real-time and/or turn-based) in your life and can't appreciate the NFL then there's got to be something strange going on. It's an elaborate chess match. Once you view it as so, let alone all the other excitement that comes with the sport it's a phenomenal experience.
I think playing football in high school helps me a bit (I got to personally experience this instead of just believing some guy saying it), but just because a certain play is called too, means nothing. The biggest plays to ever happen where because a quarterback make an audible, a receiver ran the 'hot route' instead, a defender tripped, just so may variables into every play before it even happens and during it. The strategy level is through the roof.
I'm a Steelers fan, the AFC North is what's *important* to me yet I'll watch a Dallas/Washington MNF game just to see the match ups, just to appreciate how the coaches call the game and also to see some amazing individual talent. There is so much thought that goes into every single play it's incredible.
The NFL truly needs nothing, it and hockey will be the 1-2 punch of proper sports (at least in my book) for ages to come.
That being said, big Ben's back this week. ^____^
Sent you GG versus bfl my boy.
Two things I want people to stop and think about. You literally CANNOT go to any sports site without EVERYONE shitting on Goodell and the scabs, but in full actuality to you understand WHY the refs are having labor disputes? Let me clarify.
1. The NFL sets X money aside for the refs as a whole every year, thats X% of Y total money they make. The problem here (that NO ONE seems to understand, they just blindly bitch about the refs) is that the NFL wanted to bring in ONE MORE CREW and still keep the same X%. Now normally it would be ok to split the X between more people, because you'd make up for it by increasing the X.
They didn't, they wanted to split the same pie into more slices, so until you truly understand why the refs refused then you have no right to just bandwagon and complain about the scab refs.
2. It makes me sick how many people think that this is Goodells fault, sure he should resign for a bunch of other reasons but this is not one of them. He literally is at the mercy of the owners. I honestly am getting tired of reading deadspin or grantland, let alone PFT and seeing 10,000 articles every day blaming him. Makes me go fucking batty.
Now in the end it's really sad what is going on here in the NFL, but there's really not much anyone can do about it. It doesn't matter how many articles, or angry fans blindly want the regular refs back (without even understanding why they are gone) nothing will be done any time soon. It's a money issue, and that my friends is much bigger than angry fans. Do I agree with how things are going though? No.
Do I bitch about how refs cost my team (Steelers) the game? No. The Steelers 'got away' with just as many calls as the Raiders, which is how it would be normally with standard refs. This whole fucking scab ref ordeal is 20% them being 'lesser quality' refs and 80% fucking stupid mob mentality.
God damn it I love NFL and this has gotten me riled up lmao.
Cheers.
P.S. You know who I really miss? Ed Hochuli. I would let him have his way with me, that sexy large armed brute.

It's really surprising that the person who ruined gotfrag before actively follows TF.TV enough to cause this much trouble.
Seriously though, people always said the corrupt gotfrag admins were CS kids but if one of them really hates TF2 enough to do this... daaaammmn.
Also it's not because they were bumped, because none of them were. It's because someone who hates TF2 community that much still pays attention. Mine is saved because as far as I remember it's hard(er) to delete polls.
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is near the top of books ever read for myself.
There's a few books that I think everyone should read, and this is near the top of that list. You won't be able to put it down I assure you sir.
Should be all fixed now, thanks. =]
They voted gravelpit out this season, presumably for good.
Something we tried to do for 3 seasons in a row before realizing how big of a mistake it was.
No way.
