Sal is amazing at sniper, if i am thinking of the right sal

This is a stupid question, but is the direction of fire out of the rocket jumper, like out of the launcher straight out like (in the middle of the screen) like the original or is it off to the side like the default rocket launcher?
I want to know because I used to use the default RL, but i changed to the original because i can hit shots better, but last night i went into a JumpIt server and used the rocket jumper and i could jump amazing. And i can usually not jump amazing with the original.

i was just watching the Roundtable on Huey's stream with the pyro's and they were just talking about how they weapon switch. most said numbers, and one said they have mouse binds. i was thinking if anyone has any good mouse binds for pyro/ any other class to switch weapons, because right now i am using scrolling wheel.
