Teams
With Gpit out of the rotation the home/away layout of team pages that was ported from counterstrike is now completely obsolete. Remove the home/away system and just randomize the starting sides. I think this picture speaks for itself.

Add team name history. Just like individual name history, but for teams. It would be easy to implement and make understanding past seasons and teams a lot easier.
When a team dies, overturn all their matches to forfeit losses. This might sound strange, but it means that if a team with a good record dies the entire division's record won't be messed up when determining playoffs.

Stats
ESEA has fallen pretty far behind other (free) stat plugins over the last several years. Surely it would not be that difficult to add things like:
-heal stats
-classes played
-medic picks
-midfights won
-headshots/backstabs
Hell, you could even get ambitious and create new stats like:
-seconds ubered
-overheals
-medics dropped by player
Also, delay stats so that they update at the same rate of STV so the outcome of the match can't be spoiled.
