As for the players, I'd suggest to focus mainly on 'newer' players who are less well-known at the moment. B4nny, Platinum, Mike and such are famous already and have a lot of material dedicated to them, and I guess they'd make for a lot of hype. Personally I'd like to see more of the newer faces who have been giving the older 'celebrities' a run for their money.
The problem with focusing on newer players is that they don't have a whole lot of material to work with. I'd love to do videos of gf18, shadowburn and what have you, but I would barely have enough frags to fill 2 minutes, and even then it would be frags that I have recently used.

Hey, I'm Beater and I've been watching demos and making movies for a long, long time. With i52 rapidly approaching, I figured now would be an excellent time to take advantage of this legacy and build some additional hype for some of the legendary players who we will (with your help) send to compete at i52. Also, it's a fantastic excuse to make a shit-ton of frag movies!
Here's how things are going to work: You request a video of a legendary player who have been active for a long time in the TF2 scene, and then i go through all of my folders to find frags from that player, record everything and make a simple movie starring frags from throughout that person's career. I've made a video of b4nny to demonstrate what the end result will look like. The idea isn't to show every good action that the player has ever made, but to show frags from throughout their entire career, so the longer the player has been active the easier it is for me to make a good movie.

If I were an etf2l player I'd be a lot more upset about the inclusion of a CTF map than basically any unlock being unbanned lol.
A lot of us are, we're just waiting for the season to end and the map to be taken out and a new map to be added, just like with Freight + Obscure.
Great attitude, surely new maps will flourish if everyone thinks like that.
You realise that turbine is one of the oldest maps in the game, right? Most people are not so much upset that you added a ctf map, but that you added a map which has been removed from rotation twice due to unpopularity.
Maybe I'll add a rant later which will explain why the new unlock rules are retarded

They basically added a bunch of troll unlocks that adds nothing of value and exists merely to piss a few players off.
The cloak and dagger makes sense but the rest are just meant for "rubbing it in"
