I really like the hud. It reminds you that the players you're watching aren't invincible death machines.

Family sharing was actually announced a while ago.

BlueberryVillainThere is another style tourney you can play, I'm just tossing out this as a suggestion. It takes a lot less to organize (you don't need a set amount of team, bracket seed, servers etc), old school King of the Hill Ladder.
Essentially anyone who wants to put together a team comes to the Friday night IRC channel, at a set time (say 9est) your team captain msgs the tourney organizer (lists your 6 players and says your ready to go). It's first come first serve. The first 2 teams to msg the organizer go into the server, the third team joins and specs. 20 minute KOTH map. The Losing team leaves, the winning team stays, the specs join the losing teams spot, next team joins spec (you have like 3 minutes to ready up or the game just starts), so it's constant action, with the on deck team joining spec. So if you keep winning you stay, if you lose you are out (go back to IRC and resignup and get in line).
The amount of wins at the end of then night determines the prizes you receive. Your team won 4 games out of the 16 played, you get 1/4 of the prizes. So yah, not everyone who signs up gets to play each night, but that's the way the system works. If it gets popular you can have more then 1 server running parallel tournys, but you do not split it by skill level (it leads to sandbagging for prizes).
Could very easily lead to a situation where one or two teams are much stronger than the rest and as a result one of them is always playing and you get MANY rolls between matches where the top teams face eachother.

Only take them if you actually want the games. Not just cuz it's free.
AG Chilluminati = Playground sorta.
There are a lot of good scouts in IM this season ;)
CHE_Mr_OwlWho are those top four teams, IYO? I know the open move-ups pretty well, but beyond recognizing most of the names from the other teams, I don't know much about them.
not in any order
Tonight's Entertainment
AG Chilluminati
The Wet Bandits
Speedy Cheetahs E-Sports
wildcard: New Faith Church Gaming, Sharknado, we kings now, and possibly get wrecked(depends how much they scrim and who they have playing)
I think Practice Clan Warz will be up there with us. It really depends on if they practice and improve over the season. Right now they're probably the strongest team.
Chocolate whey mixed into plain yogurt is good as hell.
For some reason i have the urge to recommend this Bogo shit.
MarxistWho knows how main is going to go down - right now it looks to me like it'll look like the old IM. Some solid teams (4 or so), a few surprises (1-2) and then everybody else.
We've pretty much been told that only IM playoffs teams will move up, so pretty much half of the not dead IM teams from last season are still in IM. Looking at the current rosters in main I see quite a few dead teams though. Same goes for IM.
Looking like the top of IM will be a fair bit stronger than the bottom Main. Dem 4 open moveups gonna have fun with the invite movedowns.
I don't see how this would be possible from an engineering standpoint.
wwalrusBenkThe point of the project is to practice critical thinking and problem solving, yet you're asking us.I understand what you're saying. However, grades are too important to not to outside research- note that I came up with a design at first, then asked people what they would do.
Oh well it's a pretty silly assignment anyways. I'm surprised you actually get a quantitative grade based on the height. Considering the goal is for you to brainstorm and think outside the box, the student with the tallest tower didn't necessarily learn the most. He probably just researched what the best design was.
I'd do the same thing. That's why i said it's dumb that you are graded on the height. It promotes a bad approach to the problem.

Is my team going to main? Holy shit there's like a week left.
