Sorry to be a debby downer, but you have a mac from 2011. Don't get me wrong, I am a mac user as well, but your system is pretty outdated. I don't know if you are going to get tf2 to work. Maybe take it into your local computer store? idk man best of luck.

I have had this idea for a while. We can just make a little sidebar for all the little problems we have with day to day tf2, competitive or just things that are on our mind. We have lots of unnecessary threads made for things that could be solved with one simple answer. So I recently reset my config, and it made me realize how poor the new player experience is. Playing the game with a custom hud, a good fps config, and other goodies is just so much better than what the average tf2 player starts out with. You start out without quickswitch, which is pretty much vital in a game as fast paced as tf2. You also do not start out with hitsounds, which is kind of ridiculous. Almost all fps games have some type of hitsound. There are other things like optimization and other things but there have already been countless threads on that. I don't know, maybe it would be a good move for Valve to at least freshen up the new player experience a bit.

I went through a phase where i constantly bought killstreak kits for my most used weapons, but then took them off, and then bought some more and put them on. I probably blew 40 bucks that way lol
