I played a few games of this (like last year, not after this update.) Apart from the bad players, getting hackused in like 2 minutes, and having the game abandoned; the fps made it unplayable. They really need to allow configs or I will literally never want to play this. I would really like to want to play this btw. I spent $10 on the fucking ticket.
I played a bit after the pyro update for ~20 minutes.
Haven't touched tf2 since.
Air_do you grasp how small of a timing window a single tick is? the same thing applies for edgebugs and wallbugs, you can know about them and know how to do it but managing to do it is impossible consistently. a surfing med would have more luck trying to open console and noclip before hitting this in a moment that matters.
I know this can't be done consistently at all. But, the floor is always going to be beneath you, so you can always attempt it. Unlike edgebugs and wallbugs where there will probably not be an edge or buggable wall you can strafe to easily.
Afaik, messing this up is basically just like normal falling. My point (which I admit is not clear from how I wrote it) was just that this is something that you can go for and it might save your life.
Also, hooli, I am very skeptical that that bind will work :(
I had a fancy thing typed up then I accidentally closed the window and I want to go to bed, so this:
uncrouch the tick before you hit the ground, jump the tick you hit the ground -> you take no fall damage.
- or some timing like that. Idk honestly
these are the only two tf2 videos of it I could find:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-txM9NM09I
- "You have to fall down, duck (hold the duck key), jump and release duck at the same time while you are close to the ground. When you unduck, your full-sized bounding box should end up within 2 units from the ground, or otherwise you won't be able to jump on the very same frame which is required for the bug to work."

Not new at all. Tons of Half life, CS 1.6, source, and go videos of it. Some are literally a decade old.

Apologies if this is already common knowledge.
I have seen people mention edgebugs and wallbugs a ton over the years but I don't think I have ever seen anyone mention jump bugs in the tf2 comp community (I was able to find one post mentioning them in a csgo discussion thread). Seems like they would be useful even though they're impractical. Could save a surfing medics life :/
EDIT: Just to make extra clear, this is not something I found. I don't remember where I learned this form, but I've known about this for a few years and I believe many jumpers have known of it for much longer...
Pokemon is just boring. I don't see why it's still relevant at all.
I like adventuring around in big open world games.
I legitimately like all the modern warfare games.
Borderlands isn't much fun
tf2 is the best games of all time
I wish heavy had higher move speed. minigun is fun to use :(.
a bunch of clothes (socks and undies!), toilet light, book on c++ templates which is way bigger than I thought it was, dune messiah and children of dune, a really hard puzzle my sister and I have been working on (family!), deathly hallows audio book, and a 200 dollar fine for forgetting to return a text book :)
alpha brian, idk what it is tho
Would you rather ghost a friend because your lover/partner doesn't like them, or leave your lover because he/she doesn't like your friend?
my roommate and I were going to watch it to support muscle march. =(
There's a super cute little crepe place in Osaka Japan that's insanely good. It's like a few blocks away from the Osaka aquarium. Would literally recommend going to the aquarium just so you can go to the crepe place afterwards.
The only games that are on this list that I would have on my personal list are tf2, l4d2, and 1942. Although I would probably have them all higher up. I would have newer version of most of the newer multiplayer games. Like I enjoyed ODST a lot :( and honestly, I had a ton of fun with mw2/3 so I may even have those on my list. I think I've tried the single player games on the list and got bored (especially with bioshock) so idk. I guess this list is focusing more on the legacy that the game has had, but w/e.
idk if I misunderstand your notation, but 0 mod any number is 0. So
X^2 + 1 = 0 mod(p) = 0
x^2 = -1
so, x = +i, -i. Which aren't in Z.
o yeah, did misunderstand ;I :(
