I was rooting for Epsilon the whole game, and was happy to see them win but I'd have been just as happy for Mix^ to win because if they did, they'd have deserved it. It's amazing that teams like Mix^, 4G and iM could travel so far to play in a competition where the prize money would not make up what they had spent to get there, and that iM could find the motivation and means to improve after dominating their scene for so long.
Yeah, Harbleu and lots of other players talk a lot of shit but it's a normal part of competition and while it might lose people some friends, it won't directly impact on any professional's performance.
Harassing players though is just unacceptable, whoever did that is a fucking idiot and seems to have missed the point of the whole event as far as TF2 is concerned, to see how the best teams compete unimpeded as well as having a good time. The TF2 community didn't spend all that money and Mix^ didn't put so much work in just to get messed with by idiots of any nationality.
I knew I should've downloaded more RAM.
That was really good, i52 is gonna be amazing.
I like the look of the line art. Keep it up!
This is really good for the community, I can't wait to see where this goes.
Zebbosai and Jukebox were really fun to watch, even if it was more of a sniper/soldier combo.
Nicely done, thanks friend.
Could we get pyyyour's stuff saved?
His healing order and stuff video is extremely useful.
Why was 6 afraid of 7?
The team I was on that scrimmed your team was the better team that I left my Donut team for.
I've been in this situation before, on a team with nice people who don't really care for improving and finding myself frustrated with the situation but not knowing what I could/should do. Like you, I began to feel extremely burnt out and disheartened, knowing I could be having so much more fun on a better team, not because I wanted to win but I wanted to improve.
You won't improve if you don't surround yourself with people who aren't necessarily better than yourself, just willing to better themselves.
I left my UGC Donut team for a team of similarly skilled players, only these guys were serious about strats and practice and all that. I'm not quite Prem yet, but I have a newfound enjoyment for the game and look forward to scrims and matches.
TL;DR, leave your team if you aren't happy with them.
I agree with everyone saying this ought to be more prestigious than a group of anybodies writing out lists on a thread. There really ought to be a panel who decide and stricter entry conditions. As for what these conditions might be, idk.
