Check your speaker plug and see if theres 3 black bands on it? if theres 3 bands (unlikely tho cause speakers) that may be why the front panel is detecting a mic. Spotify will send audio to "correct" default output most of the time, but sometimes windows/whatever app sends output to the thing that got plugged in FIRST, which may be the issue.
If its not yay! you get to do this bs down below.
use DDU/nuke current GPU drivers. reinstall ONLY physx/gpu drivers, no GPU audio driver. remove and reInstall windows driver following the exact instructions from motherboard manufacturer, windows 10 store is terribly ass so you may need to google around to find the exact app required. If it doesnt work from the gigabyte audio panel, you may be able to disable the front panel mic in thru the realtek audio console (which should get installed throughout the previously mentioned headache).
It should work after that, and if you need it you can reinstall GPU audio drivers once you verify it does.
also Nvidia broadcast is nuts if you can use it. RTX voice (for all Geforce/Quadro/Titan GPU's) does the same thing but at a slightly higher performance impact, like 2-3% more gpu util.
