#1 scout looking for starter/backup IM/top open in Recruitment (looking for team)

I told myself i wanted to sit the rest of the season out, but i lied. So I'm looking for any IM team looking or any top open team that's shooting to win open.

That and i want a team that is mature and can handle losses and learn from them when they happen. I dm almost every night and I've gotten consistently better over the past 2 seasons of esea so add me if you're interested. :)

#54 Remember when invite players streamed scrims? in TF2 General Discussion

Kaidus is streaming his scrims right now like he does pretty much everyday. Why do the US players have to be so secretive and bitchy about streaming especially after hearing a lot of you promising to stream scrims? Only person that really seems to want to do this is Seanbud. Don't promise things you're not gonna back up please.

#39 Tonight's Entertainment LF scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

Internet tough guying on a thread 30 people will look at is cool and all but I just want to play tf2. If you wanna tryout for us then do it. Stoper and Dflame are young but they have a lot of talent and are really good at their particular classes. If they get over their emotions and stop worrying about stats then we'll do well, simple as that. We're shooting for playoffs and then we'll go from there. If you'd like to try out for us then please do.

RamownkirbyRamownthe guy who doesn't understand the differences between lit and tagged
educate me
Lit = Health is flashing
Tagged = -50

It's from CS

That guy that assumes people have played any of the CS games (or any online game) and knows what the lingo is for it.

That guy that takes competitive not seriously enough and gets in the way of your team winning.

That guy that takes competitive too seriously and can't have fun.

ndustWhere'd the sudden influx of upfrag warriors come from

I upfragged partly because dflame asked me but also because I'd like to finish the season out. I don't want to look for a team for the rest of this season if I can help it.

#50 FULLY CHARGED Discussion and Feedback Thread in TF2 General Discussion

I'm not a fan of gossip and rumor magazines/websites and I don't like it on fully charged either. Honestly, Fully Charged is starting to sound a lot like a Ryan Seacrest show or the cosmo channel on XM. Djc is the Ryan Seacrest of tf2. I'll give a prefect example from Tviq's stream yesterday.

Around 2:40 is when it starts and it goes on for like 30 mins. Tviq had 80 viewers and you guys chose to talk about this stuff. :< http://www.twitch.tv/tvique/b/345780302

Maybe that's cool with you guys on fully charged but I tune you out for other streams when you go to that topic. I don't enjoy listening to that, but maybe I'm in the minority regarding gossip. I like to hear about when people leave teams and join new one's, but just something you heard on the grapevine isn't fun to listen to or professional really.

#1 Scout/Roamer lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

Welp, my team folded after 1 night of tryouts so I'm looking for a team for season 13. My dm has gotten better over the past season and I'd LIKE to be on an im team next season. I'm also very willing to play with an open team provided you're looking to improve and shoot for playoffs. I realize this is last minute but it was last minute for me too. D:

I'm willing to backup for IM teams but I want to start for any open team that would like to try me out.

add me please: http://steamcommunity.com/id/bwatbwatbwat

#48 ESEA-Orang-eXplosion in TF2 General Discussion
hooliwow what a load of bullshit
this is what i've gathered
extv is a business
extine wants esea partnership for $$$
esea says lol no
mge guys decide to help esea with their tf2 cast because better exposure
extine mad because people aren't helping him grow his business(extv)
extine trying to guilt trip with his cute "im just trying to grow & unite the community together" when it's clear that he just wants to grow his business

Can you really blame him with the amount of time and effort he's put into extv? I'm pretty sure if you had done the same thing or something similar and didn't get a return for your endeavors you'd be frustrated too, don't kid yourself.

waefwaefTo me it sounds like the problem is that eXtv is greedy for money.

Have you been to the Commft youtube channel and seen the amount of work he's put into extv and tf2 in general over the past 2 years or so? I don't think he's being greedy at all with the amount of time he and extv staff in general have put into that channel even if you factor in the youtube partnership. you're scanning a thread for 15 mins and coming to a conclusion based off that. This isn't even close to greed. he just wants some return. He doesn't have to do any of what he's doing.

That being said, from what I can tell Extine could have locked them in better, but I think the only 100% way to do that effectively would've been paying with money; something he doesn't have a lot of at the moment. I think the prospects of getting 3000+ viewers on a stream would make anyone moist financially speaking when all you get usually is around 300 to 1000(on a really good night) depending on the match being played.

And to all the casters that will be casting this weekend I just want to say thank you for what you'll be doing this weekend. You'll be the main source of entertainment I'll be getting and I want thank you for that. Please put on as good of a show as the players and don't let this get in the way of it. All 6 of you make me laugh every time I watch you cast.

Finally I just want to say that Tf2 needs more money being poured into it. Period. That or we get insane expose in the coming year. (This game ain't getting any younger.) I realize this has been said before many times but I think its the main thing that should come out of this discussion and not the drama itself.
