#16 amazing rockets in Videos

Happened to me (once? maybe twice) last night on a gullywash pug. Thought it was a server glitch. But my rocket just disappeared after shooting it towards the ground. No splash back or anything. I have the stv but not sure if that would help... prob pov would be better but dont have that.

#41 Hooli's Team Cohesion Guide in TF2 General Discussion
dingoits because its the easiest class
if you can tie your shoes you can play medic

Dingo... you have not seen Nonis play medic! It might have also been b/c he couldnt go sniper. *sigh*

On a side note, nonis can you tie your shoes? Geez.

#31 Why that class? in TF2 General Discussion

I enjoy maining everything. Because it helps you an idea of how to support your team better at any point/situation in the game. So when you mess up a team play, you can easily look into the thoughts/actions of your teammates and adjust how you play or offer advice accordingly.

And like Cozen said, dm for scout and soldier helps with movement. And positioning as medic plays out like positioning/trap setup for demo. But then again, playing flank gives a whole new outlook on traps as demo. o.O

But scout... most opportunistic class by far if you can hit shots. Probably my favorite along with medic. But medic is the art of b/c healing people at the right time + encouraging aggression with heals (an amazing feeling).

#21 Ways To Warm Up Before a Match and Scrim in TF2 General Discussion
Knuckles_Jaytr_newbots
I have direct confirmation that Invite level scout Kapoww says this is the best warmup he has ever used and prefers it over dm.

But what does he know

I like tr_newbots for simple, quick aim warmup session. And tyler_rocket_shooting_v3_d.bsp for soldier. But honestly, most scouts like to do dm (listed in server section of tftv) before games. DM servers help give more typical aim practice. MGE is an okay alternative. But the goal in MGE (to most) is being the most "crafy" to win. So if that means not playing typical of how a 6s situation might play out, may not be the best idea for practice. But a decent place for aim practice.

#2 ESEA - Latests CFGs / Whitelist in TF2 General Discussion

Yeah I recently made one. I'll upload tonight it if no one else does by the time I get home. I took last seasons restricted weapons (listed on ESEA) and took out the newest weapons. Allowed all taunts, but the high five.

Btw generated it using this - http://whitelist.tf/ .

#52 CEVO Season 5 Announced in News

I like the fixed night + one match a week idea too. Honestly, not sure if we'll be signing up for both. Scheduling for both was pretty hard. On the bright side, this season no one is playing in highlander so we got that going for us. :)

#10 korea LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

I've pugged with Korea a bit. Korea always has an awesome attitude and looks to improve. A very fast learner. I have not seen his medic/pocket, but his soldier aim is quite good. He would be a fine addition to any team.

#1 2 servers and mumble available for teams in TF2 General Discussion

Hi,

Looking to help out some teams this season. Ie share the wealth :)

I have a 50 slot mumble, would probably hold at least a total 7 more 6s teams or 4 HL teams. Also I have 2 more tf2 servers (NFO) - a 19 slot (6s) and a 20 slot (maybe for HL?). Both I think... are already configured. I could maybe get a few more servers if there is more interest.

Doesn't matter if you're open, IM, or invite, or HL players. In CEVO or ESEA or UGC. Shoot me a message we can talk more about details. Just looking to help out the competitive TF2 scene.

*For 1-2 6s teams or One 6s / One HL team
*Will give admin to captains of team for mumble and ftp info.
*We sometimes run 6s pugs after scrim time/weekends. Feel free to help run those.

Thanks,

#7 SYOPS IM/cevo-p? team needs players in Recruitment (looking for players)

Bump looking for more demoman and scout/roamer tryouts. Fragg can play either scout or roamer so we're flexible.

#13 2 at a time in TF2 General Discussion

Demo, honestly is not as gimped as some may think. Really there are alot of alternatives as some have been playtesting (see Platimum's scrims last night). Ideas such as: 1) demo knight or 2) scottish resistance. are definite alternatives/options.

And really, sticks still do quite alot of work when holding choke points. Just maybe not so much for might fights. I think that is the main question. How do we make demos more efficient for putting out as much damage as possible at mid or what class do we replace them with? That's what needs to be solved.

#269 World Cup in Off Topic

USA looked pretty sharp today against Ghana. Games like this make soccer awesome game to watch. Can't wait for the later world cup games.

Show Content
USA's defense after the 1st goal pretty much spelled that eventually Ghana would get a goal. But Brooks came back with the save.

#35 What are the subtle things top level players do? in TF2 General Discussion
GunbladeGgglygytop teams have set mid strategies that they refer to as codenames, see:
'THE HURRICANE'

My personal favorite

Damn it! Been calling them the wrong names the whole time. :<

Some little things others probably mentioned:
- All in or out attitude. There is no in between.
- Everyone knows the call to push off of damage and can follow up.
- People know how and when to push w/out having uber
- When to support your team. Ie learning how to take pressure off of your other players to gain an adv.
- When to stay alive vs pretend you have better health than you do
