Makatf2FireStarwis your config in tf/custom/foldername or tf/cfg? The one in custom will load first and steam cloud might be messing with things if its in tf/cfg
tf/cg. can you even put it in your custom folder????
You can.
Folder structure would be
tf -> custom -> config's name -> cfg -> content
Servers would definitely be a problem, but we could see what kind of pings both sides get to Казахтелеком (Kazakhtelecom) datacenter as it's one of the few options in the region. Though I can easily see them being worse than Euros get to the NY.
EDIT: Nvm found a working server elsewhere ;)
EDIT2: Will try to see if organizing this is possible
Yeah I mean HL is massive when it comes to the amount of players, but for some reason they don't turn to watch casts that often. This is only my personal opinion, but HL seems to be very hard to cover and follow even though it's quite fun to play because of so many things happening in different parts of the map like having few 'lonely' if not roaming classes like spy or sniper. But then again I'm a noob when it comes to HL (or even any TF2) gameplay so maybe I just don't understand everything.
If EVL commits to casting game every week we'll definitely have bets at least for this one as our main goal is introducing newbies to the competitive and those games you cannot watch even in Invite are definitely not helping.
TERRYCREWSmustardoverlordValmustardoverlordhis post was retarded, but there's no reason to call the video 7/10...torritdamn this kid might have better shotgun aim than kaptain
10/10 frags, pants=jizzed
ok u are definitely going too far
this guy's ok, frags like 7/10, but to say he is better than this

is ridic
fury is by far the best soldier in Asia, this frag vid doesnt properly illustrate how much of an impact he has on every single game. He is much more than just another european DM hero.
he could very well be the best soldier in Asia but:
a) if the video doesn't illustrate his impact well then that's a knock on the video to an extent
b) asian tf2 is REALLY far behind the na, eu or even au scene
I'm actually in HK right now, playing with some D1/2 peeps. Most of the teams here seem to copy EU strats, but I'll let you know more about relative skill levels when I play more with them.
I believe Kig played in AF at some point(?)
So he could give us more insight here.
joejoe347CHERRYjoejoe347This may have been asked before, but I'm not searching through 25 pages to find the answer.UGC Gold is far below IM so I don't quite get comparison.
Is there any reason ugc gold hl matches aren't on saloon? In my opinion nothing under the top level of a league should be bet on, but if you have esea im matches why not add gold too? I'm sure they'd have plenty of interest.
If I get back to adding ETF2L High 6v6 matches and when AF comes back with OWL we'll have plenty of matches not to distract users with lower leagues. Amount of matches we add don't really increase proportionally amount of bets.
I'm not making a direct comparison, it's different game modes so you can't really do that, I'm just saying that if post matches in one lower level league, why not the other? I understand if you are worried about level of competition or something so maybe only post playoffs?
Jon says you can compare them and I trust him :D
Well it is a level of competition that matters, but also games being casted, games being most relevant to their region or gamemode. 6v6 has much bigger following which is why we can add bets for IM or ETF2L High. I'd order our (or at least mine) priority list in this way:
ESEA Invite, ETF2L Premiership 6v6,
ETF2L Premiership HL, UGC Platinum NA HL, OWL, AsiaFortress
ESEA IM
ETF2L High
LBTF2
This list doesn't reflect sympathies though it's all about the numbers as we manage to hit the limit with IM (even if not consistently) and get 2 times the amount of bets than with Platinum so I don't see Gold as something worth investing time in.
EDIT: Though it's definitely a possibility to have bets for playoffs as those usually attract more viewers.

can tf2c staff actually ban this kid? Check his logs, he's doing 15k damage as scout and doing about 50 frags every single lobby. He's incredibly fishy, never miss any of his shots. 500 tf2 hours.

He's just #17 scout man :)
Looking forward!
