#9 Protecting the cord on my G400s. in Hardware
YankeeTo make sure I'm clear, I'm taping down the left over cord so only the slack moves? And thanks for the replies guys

Yes, pull your mouse to the far corner from where your PC is/where your cable comes from. Pull the cord out a bit more, then tape at the edge of your desk. The idea is you are never creating any tension where the cable goes into the mouse, and where the cable goes into the usb connector.

mthsadmarmadukeGRYLLSpull enough slack onto your desk so you will 100% for sure never need more than you've allotted yourself, then put a weight on the cord so it doesnt just fall back down off the desk. its worked for my mx518 for years. alternatively, go buy a mouse cord clip if you wanna spend $tape also works well iirc

Went through 2 518s' in 2 years. Bought a third one, taped the cord down, on year 4 now. 10/10 would recommend.

#358 Origins of Your Name/Alias in Off Topic

When I started playing I went by THUNDERCUNT. But CAL and GXL weren't too pleased with that name. So I had to change it.

I thought Carl Caliente sounded funny. But you have to be cool and shorten it. So Carl.
