RoodYChopstick the guy lives in israel its going to be hard
Edit: How did u get from his friend phone number to the scammers number?
Convinced his friend that the scammer was a mutual friend. I just had to drop some names/locations and he was convinced. And the part about your scammer living in Israel makes things a ton harder, can't help you there sorry.
I guess it's time for a bit of storytime:
A couple months back, I got scammed out of a Circling Hearts Team Captain, which is around $600 in the current market. The trader who scammed it out of me also had countless pages of SourceOP rep and had other people who vouched for him within the trading community. He went by the name "Samin." The thing about Paypal however, is that it reveals to other parties of your name and email. I'm assuming that Roody got this guy's Facebook through email or some other sort of correspondence. Anyhow, I found the scammer's twitter, which fortunately enough, was public to view.
His twitter contained no information on himself, but he had several followers whom were clearly his real life friends. I checked out his friends' twitters and easily found out what school they went to and the general vicinity of where they lived. After that, I successfully found the phone number of one of his friends and managed to squeeze the scammer's phone number out as well. From there, I called the scammer's number and threatened him by convincing him that I was willing to get his parents involved and the police as well. It only took a matter of time for him to eventually give in and give me back my hat in exchange to stop stalking him.
Most of the TF2 trading community is around 14 years of age, so I'm willing to bet your scammer is most likely around that age as well. Just threaten him and also find out where he lives. If all else fails, I'm sure you can get enough people on the internet to message him and freak him out.
Also for those who may blame me for being a scammer myself, I can confidently say that I am not and marked only because of miscommunication and slow SteamRep admins. http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/76561198046352677-erotic-chopsticks-sr-scammer.16547/
Do people actually pay attention to that? I hit my "k" key to close the window everytime it pops up. The only times I have actually paid attention to the notification was when I gave a ring away myself and the other time when "Frodo Baggins has accepted Bilbo Baggins' "The One Ring" "
Why are you posting in a TF2-based forum if you don't play TF2? :C
When I first met this guy, I really disliked him because he seemed way too bent on winning, had this cocky attitude, and talked way too much for my taste. However, after playing with him more times the past few weeks, I've grown to like him a lot more. He's humorous and has a healthy competitive attitude about TF2. Pick this guy up and witness his pro-roamer "420blazed" medic picks. (:
Disregarding the comic, thanks for the kind words!
Man, there are a lot of LFT threads out there

Bereth, why are you so mean to me, you're breaking my heart...
Thanks for the constructive criticism guys, trying to improve both in game and outside of game. Also killem, it was because I wanted attention from you :C
BerethWhen he was on our team he had commitment problems. He also wasn't good at medic. I'd be hesitant to pick him up.
I'll take this time to address this post actually.
Ever since I left my old team (Brave Little Toaster), only Bereth has shown signs of petty anger and spite. This is probably due to the fact that I did indeed create Brave Little Toaster and dragged along 5 new players into the scene of ESEA. Basically, I quit the team that I created with several of my friends.
There were several reasons why I quit:
1. Bereth is unpleasant to play with - as I am easygoing and he often rages and complains (which I would be fine with if he actually offered constructive criticism, which he does not).
2. Medic is not really fun with a pocket that is relatively new to 6s (don't get me wrong, Dealbreaker was great, but we just didn't have chemistry)
3. My real life friend, Scur, plays on Pre Game Callers. Therefore, I left Brave Little Toaster to play with someone I actually knew in real life (probably a bad excuse, but I do prefer the people on Pre Game Callers just because they are more easygoing and less ragey)
Anyways, regarding Bereth's angry post on this thread, he pretty much blocked me from steam and mutes me in mumble because he's still extremely mad. Also, Pregame Callers had a game against Brave Little Toaster on gravelpit, which I played on the former side's team. While I do regret playing against my old team, Pre Game Callers had needed a roamer due to their roster issues. In addition, during that particular g-pit match, Bereth with his pettiness decided to spam the bind "Chopsticks is a dick." continuously throughout the match - immature but deserved I suppose.
Sorry for the long post, but I felt the need to explain myself to a poorly devised argument and incorrect statement by Bereth.
edit:
*His post even says I'm bad at medic but he doesn't say why or give feedback, it was just overall stressful.
If I'm the one to always gather up players for scrims and spend tons of time pugging, scrimming, and polishing DM, does that make me non-committed? :/
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a mid-high open team that's looking to improve and scrims often for season 14.
I can roam decently and it remains my preferred class. I'd only be interested in playing medic for a team that's genuinely looking to get better both as a team and individually. I play pugs often and am almost always free in the evenings.
As for my background, I originally was the leader of Brave Litttle Toaster (now called Bob Dole) and played medic for them. However, halfway through the season (primarily due to personal and inter-team conflicts) I switched over to play Roamer for Pre-Game Callers, where we had a terrific run of a 8 win streak that was eventually shut down along with dreams of playoffs ):
S13- Brave Little Toaster (Medic)
S13- PreGame Callers (Roamer)
Feel free to add me and try me out!

Erotic Chopsticks
phAZEI can offclass decently as sniper.
Understatement, this guy will almost wipe the other team when pushing last if he's on sniper.
Pugged with him several times, he's serious but in a good, determined way.
His DM and gamesense as a demo is pretty impressive.
Ringed for my team as a roamer several times,
makes awesome calls and is super nice
Roster currently:
Medic: EroticChopsticks
Pocket: Obscure Dealbreaker
Roamer: Gigamiga
Scout: ?
Scout: ?
Our team has fairly solid DM, though I'd say we're still low open.
I'm looking for scouts that have solid DM and would enjoy playing on a team such as ours. If you're interested in playing, let know http://steamcommunity.com/id/eroticchopsticks/. We're open to criticism and I'm mainly looking for scouts that have commitment and dedication to matches and scrims. Awesome, thanks!
