Hey thesupremecommander. I just wanted to let you know I've had some issues getting StatusSpec to enable player outlines and Medigun info with 0.23.1. I've reverted back to 0.23.0 and it's working again. Thanks for much for this plug-in!

Can't wait to see the show! I call in with some questions such as "Perhaps you could show us plebs how to learn elite men's hair styling tips?" or "Perhaps you could demonstrate how to call whales?"
I'm just spitballing here.
Good luck! I'll be watching.
I'll be there. July 26th is fuckin saved!
duderAnybody know how the parking situation is down there?
Ignite's Yelp page says they have a private lot. Parking near Elston and Roscoe shouldn't be a problem if their lot is full.
I'm down. I'll bring Duder as my date. (shhh he doesn't know yet)
NusemanCold--Fooling around.

Do those red bars do anything? I was trying to get something similar looking where the bar would decrease with health.
I was looking into that. I thought about putting the health crosshair into a separate container but then there were issues of "how do I show that I'm buffed?" and so on. There were so many problems I had to solve I just decided to leave them as team indicators/information borders.
I decided to put back the health cross and move it against the left sub-reticle. Made some other adjustments too like font positioning. I am far from done. I still need to edit the map mode areas and the scoreboard to my liking.
This sure is time consuming but it's fun making a HUD from scratch for the first time. I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

Tonight's episode will guest Dogfloaties (SYOPS) and Bowswer5 (Unbelievably Brave Sweethearts).
Be sure to check us out tonight on eXtv's twitch channel @ 8:15PM EST!
Nine and Out - Super serious & professional good-looking Highlander podcasting.
Host & Creator: Turbo_Cop (@Turbo_Cop)
Co-hosted by: Kip (@KipTF2), Getawhale (@Getawhale), and DJ
Produced by: c0ld-- (@maczan)
Edit: Misspelled a name.
I made an audio version in case people want to listen on their iPod or whatever: [Download/Listen]
- With the popularity of competitive TF2 bleeding into almost every aspect of public play, what could we do as a community to encourage more people to join in on the fun?
- Would Highlander benefit from having a smaller or larger whitelist?
- What maps aren't getting enough exposure - or - which map deserves to be re-made/updated the most?
- Opinions on the state of the Platinum division?
This one has Mustard in mind but others are welcome to reply as well:
It is known that in the past that you've voiced some major criticisms with UGC and how some of the people run the league or represent the league. How do you feel the about UGC today compared to 2 years ago? What are some things UGC can do better?

Thank you very much for this mod!
keepertonWhen I tuned in two weeks ago and saw that I thought it was super spiffy. The icons are great and having the Übercharge percentages in the middle was a great touch.
Thank you! eXtine and I sat on my stream a few weeks back and went over just about everything together. The TAB scoreboard, killfeed, fonts, icon sizes. It still needs more tweaking but I'm glad you like it. I'm happy with how it's developing so far.
dashnerCold--I plan on releasing it to the public so that *ALL* casters can make their stuff look pretty good.
I'm sure the three people who still use xsplit will be thrilled :)
Oh snap!
Edit: My bad if I was rude! I was trying to be silly and promote my shit. Later!
Hey there. Fellow cast producer here!
TheManWithNoNameis there any chance at moving the medigun's in use + percentage lead in between the two team's player information instead of at the top? makes it easier to read/see imho
Check out the HUD I did for eXtv's cast on this Highlander match. The Medic's über HUD elemeents are in the middle.
Here's a closer screenshot:

dashnerYes, absolutely. Will make the adjustment to the HUD tonight.
lols beat you to it weeks ago, nerd.
joejoe347I'm still not sure the current score board looks right with the rest of the HUD. It fits with the other custom stuff you had going on, but once you get into the the actual game it doesn't seem to fit with the TF2 Hud. It just looked slapped on top, because nothing else on the screen is like it.
That's because it is "slapped" on top, silly. Dashner uses video loops with an alpha channel so that it's transparent, but I get what you're saying. I think the transitions and the scoreboard look really slick and all, but it feels like the graphics look like they're more for TSN Hockey or ESPN Football rather than Team Fortress 2. They don't fit TF2's style. But hey, I'm not complaining either. Not like many other people are doing custom stuff.
Oh wait, I am!
I've been working on a TF2 XSplit casting plug-in this past month. Here is me showcasing two features: a scoreboard and roster which will fade in/out with the "J" and "K" keys. The scoreboard can be incremented for the Home (left) and Away (right) teams with the "[" and "]" keys. The score can also be decremented if the "shift" key is held down.

And here's what the scoreboard looks like up close (looks more like TF2, eh?):

This is the first working version I finished last night. I plan on releasing it to the public so that *ALL* casters can make their stuff look pretty good. I will have an eXtv flavor and a generic one for the public. I'll also have my HUD and everything else up on my blog next month when I have an official release of the plug-in. When I do release it I'll make a new thread with feature requests, blah blah blah.
Anyway, great job Dashner! Keep up the awesome work! I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Edit: I did some research and it looks like my plug-in will work for OBS as well as XSplit. You just need the "CLR Browser plugin" for OBS to play SWF files. Huzzah!
GG to GC and 20b.
LKincheloeCold--Later Dawg!
FTFY ;)
I told Duder he needs to write a column and call it "Later, BLOG!". Still waiting, Duder!
See you all tomorrow night on my new Highlander show Nine and Out.
