LangeCondescendingCandlestickYou could do a disgustingly massive tumor for the all class hat, make it as bad as possible and tons of people will wear it ironically. Also you could use ribbons as badges and number them similar to how the service medals work. That'd probably make them desirable.
While your first idea is distasteful to say the least, the thought of using the ribbons as numbered badges is a good one. This should be considered.
That one was made to make fun of the people wearing the bot dogger, but it wasn't obvious enough and was in poor taste. I am sorry.
